In this hands-on class, you’ll transform an ordinary wine bottle into a charming bird feeder, perfect for brightening up your outdoor space and keeping feathered friends happy all winter long. Our expert instructors will guide you through the process of safely cutting the bottom of a wine bottle for easy refilling and building a sturdy base using a miter saw and table saw.  

Whether you bring your favorite wine bottle or use one of ours, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind bird feeder that’s as stunning as it is practical. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable woodworking and glass-cutting skills that you can use for future projects.  

No experience? No problem! We provide all the tools, materials, and guidance to make this project fun and accessible for everyone. All you need are close-toed shoes and a sense of adventure—come ready to learn, create, and enjoy!

  • Proper safety practices when working in the woodshop.
  • How to safely modify and cut the bottom from a glass bottle.
  • How to measure and cut boards to fit your bottle.
  • How to join and finish your pieces to create the perfect birdfeeder
