Learn Woodworking Basics and Build a Beautiful Egg Display Tray - Just in Time for Easter!
Easter is just around the corner, and those beautifully decorated eggs deserve a handmade two-toned display tray as unique as they are! In this hands-on woodworking class, you'll create a custom wooden egg tray while learning essential woodshop skills.
Under expert guidance, you'll cut wood using the table saw, drill precision egg slots with the drill press, chamfer edges with the router (you'll learn what chamfer means and amaze your friends with your new lingo!), and sand your project to perfection. Whether you're new to woodworking or looking for a fun project, this class will help you build confidence using a variety of tools.
At the end of this two-hour workshop, you’ll take home a beautifully crafted egg tray, ready to showcase your Easter eggs or hold fresh eggs year-round.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to cut wood safely using a table saw
- How to drill precision holes with a drill press
- How to chamfer and shape edges with a router
- How to sand and finish your wooden egg tray
