Learn Clay Slab Techniques and Design a Handmade Clay Picture Frame complete with Underglaze and Texture!
Capture a special memory in a handmade ceramic picture frame! This beginner-friendly pottery class is the perfect way to explore hand-building techniques while creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake.
With expert guidance, you’ll work with pre-rolled clay slabs (and learn the difference between a soft slab and a hard slab) to form a sturdy and stylish 4” x 6” frame. Add your personal touch using sprig molds, textured rolling pins, and sculptural elements to create a unique design that reflects your style. Then, bring your piece to life with colorful underglazes and decorative details.
Whether you're new to ceramics or looking for a fun, creative experience, this class will introduce you to the fundamentals of pottery in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Once completed, your frame will be carefully dried and kiln-fired, ready to display your favorite photo.
